The breadth of projects that CSLRCD staff support reflects the diversity of natural resources and landscapes across the District. Projects range from restoring the coastal dune systems, to reducing wildfire risk in the uplands, to working shoulder to shoulder with farmers and ranchers to improve soil health. 

Our work falls in four general program areas: Habitat Restoration, Watershed Management, Fire Resilience and Working Lands. While many of our projects fit under one program area, several projects address components of multiple program areas. The four icons above represent the four program areas and are used to denote when a project spans multiple program areas.
