Megan began working with the RCD during the summer of 2022. Originally from Santa Maria, Megan grew up on a cattle ranch where she got to explore the natural world every day. She graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Natural Resources and a minor in Sustainability. Megan has experience working in a soil health lab and for nonprofits focused on environmental education and sustainable agriculture. In these roles, Megan’s passion for the environment and sustainable resource management grew, and manifested into a desire to work closely with stakeholders on conservation projects. In her free time, Megan enjoys getting outside to explore the beauty of her home state.
