Donate

More than 90% of our budget comes from grants.  Your donation is critical in filling the gap that remains to help protect the vitality of our landscape. Your tax-deductible donation is leveraged at about a 300:1 ratio making a very effective use of your charitable dollars.

Most donors and foundations give to the RCD directly as a tax-deductible donation. If your donor advised fund requires the recipient to be a 501c3, please contact cslrcd@coastalrcd.org, for how you can give.

CSLRCD Team

A word from our Executive Director:

It's hard to believe that it's already been six months since I stepped into the role of Executive Director for CSLRCD. What's even harder to believe is that it's been almost 10 years since I gleefully accepted the position of Environmental Technician with the CSLRCD. It's been said that time flies when you're having fun, and I must agree, being a part of the CSLRCD team has been fun, as well as challenging, rewarding, and humbling.

As we wrap up 2025 and look towards the future, CSLRCD’ passionate and dedicated Staff and Board of Directors share a balance of optimism for the opportunities on the horizon, and uncertainty of how we’ll achieve those opportunities. At a time where we are seeing first hand the impacts of climate change on our communities and natural resources, we are also seeing increased uncertainty in availability of the capital necessary to protect and support these communities and resources.

We are looking now to the community itself, to be a stakeholder in this important work. Financial contributions, regardless of the size, goes directly back into our community, our watersheds, our wildlife, and our natural resources. Donations allow us to spend more time with our boots on the ground, hands in the creeks, shoulder to shoulder with our farmers, ranchers and land managers.

Please consider a tax deductible donation to CSLRCD this year to help our team invest back in the community.

Warmly,

Hallie Richard

Executive Director, CSLRCD
