In 2021, CSLRCD received funding from the Bureau of Reclamation’s WaterSMART Cooperative Watershed Management Program to increase coordination and engage a wide demographic of water users in the Arroyo Grande watershed. The objective of the planning effort is to increase the sustainability and equity of water resources in the watershed through increased water quality monitoring, expanding the existing MOU group, developing outreach materials, and updating the existing Watershed Management Plan.Â
