| Vegetation Establishment-All of the vegetation establishment was performed by the landowner. Vard Ikeda made sure every inch of the project was covered with vegetation and irrigated to establishmnet, in one of the driest winters on record. The landowner also went above and beyond and reshaped many of the slopes and drainage ditches around the fields and established vegetation on or in them. The slope and ditch reshaping and re-vegetation was suggested in the Conservation Plan, but was installed and funded solely by the landowner. |
