Arroyo Grande Creek Watershed Management Plan
Central Coast Salmon Enhancement 4/2005The Arroyo Grande Creek Watershed Management Plan (AGWMP) was produced in 2005 by Central Coast Salmon Enhancement (CCSE). The AGWMP was prepared in cooperation with local stakeholders through establishment of the Arroyo Grande Watershed Forum and associated Steering Committee and Technical Advisory Team. The plan describes the condition of the creek, identifies critical issues and limiting factors facing the Arroyo Grande Creek watershed, and poses a set of recommendations to address the issues. While the primary focus of the plan is steelhead habitat, it also considers erosion, sedimentation, water quality and flooding issues, as well as other creek and community concerns related to the watershed. CCSE considers the plan a "working document", to be updated as additional information becomes available, and as projects are implemented and monitored.
